The Audience Score analyzes the quality of your recipient email addresses.
The Audience Score is one facet of StreamScore. This score is a result of the practices used to collect recipient email addresses and the level of maintenance you perform on existing recipient lists/addresses.
Factors that could impact your Audience Score:
- Generating a high bounce rate caused by sending messages to addresses that mailbox providers have indicated do not exist.
- Sending to email addresses that have expired or contain a typographical error.
- Poor list collection practices leading to hard bounces and poor recipient engagement (i.e., low opens/clicks and high spam complaints).
- Lack of a regular list hygiene process to remove invalid addresses, spam complaints and unsubscribes, or sending infrequently which can lead to a spike in hard bounces when you do send.
