# Upgrading Your Subscription
### Upgrading Your Subscription
You can upgrade your subscription level in the [SocketLabs Control Panel](http://cp.socketlabs.com/). Once you have logged in, follow these steps:
1. Click the View button next to the server you want to upgrade.
2. Click the My Plan menu.
3. Choose the plan you would like to upgrade to.
> If you are upgrading from a Free plan, you will need to enter a valid credit card to upgrade.
>
> Your new plan will be effective immediately and your recurring monthly billing date will become the day of the month on which you performed the upgrade. For instance, if you upgraded on 1/13 you will be billed each month on the 13th. This only applies to accounts with a single server.
